Plant It Forward: a joint effort between the Gardens on Spring Creek and the Food Bank for Larimer County, which urges home gardeners to plant extra fruits, vegetables and herbs for the community.
The Gardens on Spring Creek is the community botanic garden of Fort Collins, CO. The 18-acre site opened in 2004 as part of an important partnership between the City of Fort Collins and the Friends of the Gardens on Spring Creek. Our mission is to enrich the lives of people and foster environmental stewardship through horticulture.
The Gardens' non-profit is the Friends of The Gardens on Spring Creek whose mission is to cultivate a world-class botanic garden through fundraising and advocacy. Creating a culture of equity and inclusion is a priority for the Friends of the Gardens on Spring Creek. Our community is made better by the multitude of perspectives, skills and backgrounds that create it.
